Random update.

Eng dao nephew, Joshua Su

Uncle (me) with Joshua.
Joshua:" Uncle! Pimples!!! "

Joshua and my mom. Ang ang bo hai lang.

This little Joshua likes camera so much!!! Parents' unfluence. Haha

Looking at the last photo, I thought of myself when I was young, when I was still in my mom's hands. I remember when I was young, my mom was a tailor. She worked at home and she had lots of clothes to rush every day. I was the naughty one playing with my cousins and she had to do her work while watching over me. She's the one who raised us, 3 brothers up as my daddy worked at Damai and he had less time to spend with us. My mom is like a supermom to me. She cares for me, she loves me, and protects me and she gives me what I want ( most of the time). I feel so pampered. There's times I rebel too! When I grow up, I find myself rebel more and more, especially to my mom. I shout at her, I ignore her, I get angry at her, but don't worry. I never hit her. However, she's still the one I love, I respect, and I must thanks. If it wasn't her, I'm worse than what I am today. I love you mom.

Gone and Going

Where had I been? Tadah! Sorry-LAH guys I was too lazy to update my blog. It's lucky enough for you all that I'm updating tonight ;)

Well, let me brief what I have done for the past few weeks which I haven't been blogging. First of all, I joined the 4days short-term missionary camp to Bau. It's my second time joining missionary camp. I would say I enjoyed this camp very much! Before the camp, I was thinking, "oh man, it's gonna be torturing for the next 4days." Day by day passed, I found myself loving the camp more and more. I got to know the families from the villages in Bau through conversation. You might be wondering, " do they speak English? Mandarin? " No! There's not many who can communicate in English and Mandarin. That's why we had to speak using BAHASA MALAYSIA. That's the most challenging part of the camp as many of us seldom communicate in Bahasa Malaysia. Anyways, God had his planned flowing smoothly. There's Chinese in some of the villages and we got brothers and sisters to share the 'good news' with them. Through the camp, I learned that the people of Bau still counting on crops for their living. Cempedak, langsat and durian can be easily gotten there. We're blessed enough to have fruits throughout the visiting. Hehehe. Besides, I got to enjoy the beauty God has created. Every little grass, every single tree, every hill, every cave, they were so pretty! Especially when the sun was setting, when the sunlight was just about to go off to the other side of the Earth, that's the moment you feel peace and calm in yourself. Arhh~ The beauty of nature.

Secondly, it was the musical concert held at MBKS. People might ask, what do you have to do with that concert? Singing? No. Dancing? No. Guess what? It was my first time getting my hands down on the lighting effects. People might never noticed the effort of a lighting supervisor. Like the rests saying, the main focus is the performances! Yes, it is right. But, a right lighting effect can build up the atmosphere. Can you imagine watching a theatre with all the lights on all the way? During the setting of materials on the stage too? Haha. I bet you don't like it. That's why we have lighting supervisor! But that's just part of it. There's more to learn about it and I'm glad that I had Simon, a worker there to guide me. I've learned something new! Hehe.

I guess that's all for now, nothing much recently. Oh ya, notice the title? " Gone and Going ". Stay tuned! ;)

Miracle

Do you believe in Miracle?

Oh Lord, take my hand. I need directions. The path before me is fuzzy. I need You as You're the light of my life.

Unwasted Thursday

Thursday, a day which always seems normal to me. I believe same goes to the others especially workers. As for me, I used my Thursday to the fullest, accompanied by friends and family.

Well, we celebrated our last day at school today. Brunch treated by our beloved MUET teacher, Mdm Maria. Gathered at Jiing Der's house after school. We then decided to go Velocity Indoor Go-Karting which provides Laser Tag too. Of course, we played laser tag. It was hell lots of fun! Can you believe that I sweated so much for just playing 20 minutes in an air-conditioned classroom-size battlefield? I've learned something too. Never underestimate girls! They scored higher than me and some of them were tricky too! Haha.

After that, we went to the hawker stall besides Jubilee Stadium for drinks. I don't know if the stall owner was drunk or was he usually behaving like that but this afternoon he was talking craps. He claimed that his drinks can cure impotence and the customer was laughing at us. It's embarrassing man. Besides that, he asked us if we want drinks like KKJ or CCB. You know what he meant. He was actually being expected when you see the menu. It has some seriously stupid but yet funny names for the drinks like Kungfu Panda, CJ7, Go Hek Goes Tang...etc. Enough of talking, enjoy the photos.

My classmates and ME!

I bet you know which one is it

Enlarge the photo to see the menu CLEARLY!

Last but not least!

The boys team.

A great morning

Who says sleeping till late noon is the greatest thing? I say, waking up early, skip school and go for a jog in the park is the real deal. The class is gonna end at 11a.m so I decided not to go school and after passing Eng Tong some co-curiculum certificates I went for a walk in the park. The wind was just nice, and you can actually feel the morning breeze. Pure morning breeze with zero pollution. I saw birds too and the flowers bloomed. Amazing scenery. There's many folks there and somehow I felt like I've grown older for joining them. Haha.. Well, I have one whole day to spend. Hrm... Waiting for friend's call and let's see what they're planning. The 100th post

I'm hereby to congratulate myself for writing the 100th post. Well, that's not the part.

Looking back at the posts I have long written, it brings me lots of memories, which I have almost forgotten. From classmates to buddies, from buddies to family, I remember bits by bits for what I have done in the past. I'm thankful for having such influential bunch of friends and of course, my family. Let's skip the thanksgiving part. Well, I'm just feeling random to post this as I see it's gonna be my 100th post. There's actually something I wanted to share with you people.

I wonder if you all have heard of Mental's Block before. Just an extra information for the bloggers who frequently suffer from this 'disease'. I read about it in the Borner Post few days ago and before that, I thought I was the only one suffering from Mental's Block. It seems that almost everyone does! Haha! It's advised that one can take a rest or a cup of cappucino to stimulate the brain to think. There's no need to be necessarily coffee to stimulate your brain, you may find what your own stimulator is. For my case, it comes spontaneously. You can apply that as well. Things you see, hear or even talking about can come handy when you need ideas to blog. Take the writing easily, you might get stressed easily when you have nothing on your mind. Don't force yourself to think for ideas, let them come for you. Those were just my opinion. Cheers readers =)

What I did on my birthday

Sorry for the late update. Alright, I'm gonna share what I did on 30th of Oct 2009. It wasn't an usual Friday as it was my birthday. I woke up thinking how my friends gonna celebrate it with me, what am I getting, and stuffs. I went school and my friends were ignoring me. How naughty! Later then they wished me Happy Birthday. Not a surprise though. But... they were keeping it until after school. They tried to surprise me by bringing a cake into the class but I had expected something like that could happen. Thanks for the effort though. I ain't easy to get surprised =P It was CHocolate Ice-cream Cake and I have to tell you it was so nice! I never like Chocolate Ice-cream but hey! Chocolate Ice-cream made into cake, it's something! My beloved classmates were actually late for meetings and some of their parents were waiting for them when they celebrated my birthday in class. I was so touched. Thank you very much classmates!

*Credits to JiingDer for the photos.

My beloved classmates locking me up in the classroom. =(

I still couldn't figure out why Qiang Bin was more excited than me.

Smart Hugh who smashed my head into the cake.

That was the first part. Later on Friday evening, we headed to Hollywood Steamboat at 4 and 1/2 miles. The first present I received that evening was a birthday card from Debra Chia. It was a World's Greatest Buddy card. Friends arriving group by group and we started eating. Got my second present from my classmates. The present is kinda kinky. What do you have in mind? Condoms? Guess what? It's 2 pairs of G-string for male! Branded some more (Playboy). Alright, back to the place. They actually serve quite a plenty of ready-made food like friend rice, mee, tomato mee and chicken. There's chicken cheese sausage which I liked very much! As for the marinated meats, they didn't attract me. They were just salty. After eating, got my third present from my beloved gang. It's a photo frame and a graduation 'tube' with a wishing card inside. What I was really touched was the little corner with my parents' encouragement words in it. Am touched by my friends' effort too! Love you all. ENjoy the photo.

The people.

Hugh is in action again.

 Yummylicious? Not really =P

My beloved buddies of all time.

Matt got emo later on. Guess he's worried over his Final next week.

The presents

The photo frame. Look nice right? Love it!

World's Greatest Buddy. Nyahahaha! Am touched reading what she wrote behind it.

Kinky G-string from my classmates

The hand-made card.

My parents'. *touched*

Had my greatest birthday. Love you all for the effort. May the friendship lasts. As for daddy and mummy, I love you.

Officially 18

30th of October. It's the date which I am always looking forward to when October comes every year. This year, I am officially 18. Throughout my 18years on Earth, I would like to thanks hell lots of people who have influenced me, who have taught me the ways of life, who have loved me, who have even hurt me. Without you all, I might have still been an immature little boy.

First of all, I would like to thank my parents. I won't be here if it weren't them *ahem*. They have been caring for me and loved me for every single second since I was born. Since young, my dad had been working from day to late night as a chef and hence, he had less time to spend with the family. However, to my surprise my mom told me that my dad was the one who did all the feeding and cleaning every time I cried in the midnight. I was so touched. I never knew until my mom told me. I'm blessed to have such dad on Earth and I'm touched thinking about it every time. As for my mom, an iron woman I would like to label her. She is the strongest mom I have ever seen. She has strong shoulders to bring up the family. She taught the three brothers the morality and she's always be by our sides when we need her. She's a good cook too besides my dad. And yeah, I'm feeling blessed for having 2 BIG CHEFS in my family. Years passed and I grew up, my mom and I are still as close since young but my father has turned into a strict dad. Maybe it is because of the pride, he keeps it that way. Although we don't talk much with each other, I can always feel his caring towards me. And so, I always feel encouraged of his words as he gained all my respect for him. He is an experienced dad who has seen lots of things and I have learned a lot from him. An 'I love you' couldn't pay my debts to them, and I promise I'll strive one day to make them proud.

Besides my parents, I have bunch of brothers and sisters in Christ who grew up with me. I'm feeling thankful for having the chance to go church since young and accepted Jesus Christ as my savior during Form2. Some of you might even know that I've baptized in June this year. It was the greatest gift that I have ever received, which is Jesus Christ. HE got humiliated, HE got tortured and HE got crucified to die for us, to cleanse our sins. Through the youth I've joined in church, I've learned to communicate with others rather than keeping myself inside. I learned to speak out my minds and learned to love everyone even if he/she is your enemy. Although it sounds hard, it's part of our learning on Earth.

I would like to thanks my friends who have walked into my life too! It was destined that we met, and we became friends. Without you all, my life wouldn't be so sparkly, full of excitement and happiness everyday. If I have ever done anything wrong or caused troubles to you, I am sorry. I deeply appreciate every single friend I am having. They're just like my partners and they make my life perfect. Once again, Thank You.

My diet lunch

This is my diet lunch I had today. I'm still wondering if it's really 'diet' or is it fattening instead. Anyways, just want to try out some new diet plan. Hope to get to my desire body shape.

Had MUET Speaking at shcool today. Well, it was quite fun I would say. It's like debating and you're running with time to come up with ideas. But it can be worst when you're blank in mind. It's look like I still need lots of improvement in my grammar and vocabulary.

Going to watch movie tonight. Hope it's JADI.

P/S: 1 more day to my birthday!

Reader from US?

As usual, I login to my blogger account following by nuffnang account. The analytic of today's visits appeared and what got me surprised was that it showed there's reader from United States and Singapore, yes UNITED STATES. Seeing readers from Singapore didn't surprise me as I know it'll always be my brother who's my loyal reader. Hehe.. Anyways, although it's just 1 or 2 readers from US but I'm feeling blessed already. It shows that my blog has gone across overseas.

For those who read my blog consistently, a BIG THANKS to YOU. You're the one who keeps the blog going on. I'll try my best to keep this blog alive and bring happiness into it, and of course to the readers. Once again, thank you.

Your sincerely,
Alan Su

Tooth of Wisdom. Am I blessed or am I Wretched.

Have been in pain for weeks 'cause of this little tooth. The so-called tooth of wisdom! It didn't seem to bring much wisdom on my exam though. Came back home earlier today as I couldn't stand the pain anymore. Ate one tablet of painkiller. Went to UpWell and bought a packet of chewing gum as they have been saying that chewing gum can soothe the pain. Which for my case, it caused much more pain.

Am blogging with pain now =( Wish me luck that the tooth can grow fast enough. It's damn hell painfulL!!!

Bye bye Final!

Yeeee HA! Just finished my last 2 papers of Chemistry and PA. Feel so relieved! Went to Hart'z Chicken for lunch to celebrate Chee Wei's 18th birthday. Happy Birthday to you again if you're reading this. Had fun chit-chatting at the place. ALmost vomited though. Bloated.

Just came back from Waterpark at BDC. Haven't been swimming for months! I miss the water, although I'm a little bit of aqua-phobia. Felt the muscles in every part of my body working well. Hope I can get enough $$ for consistent swimming. Planned to swim for two consecutive hours! but ended up chatting with the boys. We talked about relationship, friendship and careers. Nice evening I would say. Experiencing the sunset at the pool.

Anyways, just a random post. Let's see what else is coming up this week.

P/S: 4days left until my birthday. Weee~

Mexican Cuisine

Here it is. The Mexican Cuisine post! Sorry to disappoint you there's not much pictures taken that day.

Alright, make it short. The Mexican Cuisine was once available at Riverside Majestic Hotel. There were two Mexican folks sent here to promote their cuisine. Mexican huh? Sad to say, it was the greatest disappointment I have ever had. It was in buffet style and they didn't serve Mexican food. The Mexican food was only available by ordering at the side, which is a kitchen where people get to order and see how the chefs prepare the food. The chefs serve some sort of food like pizza and guess what? They were referring to the recipe while preparing! How unprofessional. And they were slowwwww in preparing. But it can be forgiven as they had never prepared Mexican food before. As for the Mexico representatives, they walked around and sang their Mexican songs out loud.

I wouldn't recommend it even if they are coming for the second time and the price isn't proportional. But if you just want to try what Mexican food is like, go ahead. Orchid Garden is still my top priority of buffet spot. Anyways, enjoy the photos taken.

Below are the Mexican pizza-look-alike.

There are total of 6 variety flavours of mini 'pizza' but I didn't manage to snap the photos as the hungry family members devoured them in no time.

The food available in the buffet section.None of them tasted right.

The desserts served are more or less like the kampung cakes. It's probably because of Bulan Puasa that time.

You can make your own D.I.Y decoration with the ice-cream and there's Chocolate Fondue available with strawberries, honeydew, assorted fruits and more.

The Mexican Folks =P and my brother and sis-in-law.

The scenery was good. It could be better if they have served more choices of food.

Blood donation - Failed

Sigh~ Went to the church at 10a.m this morning and waited for Chong Yung as I've asked him to come along to donate blood too. After he had arrived, I went to seek for doctor's advice and here's the conversation.

Me: Excuse me Doc, my 18th birthday falls on next Friday which is 6days from now. Am I able to donate blood?
Doc: I'm sorry young man but you're not allowed to do so as it's illegal for those who are underage to donate blood unless you have your parents accompanying.
Me: But it's just 6days away from now Doc.
Doc: No worry young man, you'll have 42 years to donate blood once you have reached 18. NEXT!

So, I was quite disappointed as I didn't get the chance to donate my blood. On the other hand, I was amazed by the strictness of their system and how professional the medical assistants and doctor are. To my surprise, they are willing to come our church to do this blood donation campaign as they have Malay assistants among them.

It was Chong Yung's first time donating blood. I couldn't imagine how it feels seeing your own blood running down to the packet through the tube. But it sure feels good for being able to help the others who need blood. Blood donation brings benefits to ourselves and to the others. I personally recommend all of you to take part in it. It's only 3months intervals before you can donate blood again.

After that, went to the sPring with Chong Yung and he bought 2pairs of boxers. Lols. So that's all for today.

Blood Donation!

Guys, sorry for the wrong info in the previous post.
" P/S: Mexican Food is coming up next. "
Had a sudden change and went out with friends last night so I'll have to postpone to next few post for it.

ALright, this morning. 24th of Oct 2009. I am going to donate some blood of mine. This is my first time ever. I'm still underage actually. 6days underage but I think I'm ready for it.

Benefits and incentives

The World Health Organization set a goal in 1997 for all blood donations to come from unpaid volunteer donors, but as of 2006, only 49 of 124 countries surveyed had established this as a standard. Plasmapheresis donors in the United States are still paid for donations. A few countries rely on paid donors to maintain an adequate supply. Some countries, such as Tanzania, have made great strides in moving towards this standard, with 20 percent of donors in 2005 being unpaid volunteers and 80 percent in 2007, but 68 of 124 countries surveyed by WHO had made little or no progress. In some countries, for example Brazil, it is against the law to receive any compensation, monetary or otherwise, for the donation of blood or other human tissues.

In patients prone to iron overload, blood donation prevents the accumulation of toxic quantities. Blood banks in the United States must label the blood if it is from a therapeutic donor, so most do not accept donations from donors with any blood disease. Others, such as the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, accept blood from donors with hemochromatosis. It is a genetic disorder that does not affect the safety of the blood. Donating blood may reduce the risk of heart disease for men, but the link has not been firmly established. Also, donating one pint of blood causes the donor to burn approximately 650 calories.

In Italy, blood donors receive the donation day as a paid holiday from work. Other incentives are sometimes added by employers, usually time off for the purposes of donating. Blood centers will also sometimes add incentives such as assurances that donors would have priority during shortages, free tshirts or other small trinkets (e.g., first aid kits, windshield scrapers, pens, etc.), or other programs such as prize drawings for donors and rewards for organizers of successful drives. Most allogeneic blood donors donate as an act of charity and do not expect to receive any direct benefit from the donation.

The above statements are extracted from wikepedia. It's just part of it. Read it if you have the time for it.

So, don't be stingy with your blood. It's good to donate from time to time. For those Kuchingites who are reading this, you're not too late for blood donation. There's a blood donation carried out by General Hospital in SIB The Way Church from 9a.m to 1p.m. It's located in the housing estate next to Premier 101.
Address: No23, Lot 2878, Lorong Kempas 1A, Taman Phoning, 93350 Kuching.

FuuuU~~

Hey guys. It's time to update! Yeah you heard me.

Alright, I'm actually still in the exam week but the difficult ones are done, which are Physics and Mathematics. The last two papers will be done on next Monday which is Chemistry and PA2. I would say the exam this time wasn't as hard as expected. The questions are quite direct forward and all you need is a little bit 'more' of understanding and apply the formula. For me, as I wasn't prepared well enough, I think the results can already be expected to pass the average. Just barely.

For these past few nights, I've been staying up late from 10p.m to 1 or 2 a.m. I found out that I'm able to understand more for what I am revising as compared to revising in the afternoon. It's not necessary that you have to use my method. If you have your own method of studying, stick to it. But if you haven't figured out your 'schedule', I suggest you to try studying at different time everyday for a duration of 1 month. You'll eventually see the results.

Plans after exam have been planned - swimming, visiting crocodile farm, jungle-trekking, sing karaoke and MORE! Can't wait for the days to come. And and... My BIRTHDAY is just around the corner! Mind to tell you that it's on 30th of October! Whoever is reading this, get prepared =P Alright, just kidding. Just wish to have gatherings with friends.

That's all for now. More will be coming up ASAP!

P/S: Mexican Food coming up next.

Searching for ideas

Hi guys. Haven't been updating as you can see. The final test is just around the corner so I'll have to spend 'more' time on the books. Just leave your comment in the chatterbox or you can give ideas for what you are expecting me to write. Am running out of ideas for my blog. Thanks for your co-operation and stay tuned for MORE!

Crazy Life Routine

Wooo... At last. Am having my free time now. Just came back from a Barbeque Gathering with friends. Miss them so much. Especially my classmates. Photos are to be uploaded ASAP. Let me brief what I have done for these few days since I came back from camp. I kept going out with friends. From McD to THe Spring and from THe Spring to 4Points Sheraton. I had left no time for my homework and there's too much to be done. Another friend is leaving us soon, just within a month =( I still remember the last time we sent Evan Sun at the airport when he left for KL to further his studies. But then he's now with us in Kuching, for RAYA Holidays. As for LLoyd, who is leaving us soon, I have no idea when is he coming back. Few years I perhaps? Friends leaving one by one. Sooner or later, those taking SEM at Taylor's are going to end their course. Which means, they're going to apply UNIs and there's a probability of leaving Malaysia. Which also means they'll be coming back less and less. Or might not gonna come back anymore. Grr... Am thinking too much again. Let's just appreciate what we have before we lose it. Enjoy the photos.

Just call 1300-13-xxxx and I'll be there in no time!
